Part of EREF’s Climate Atelier on CO2 pricing, this presentation on European Commission’s State aid decisions focussed on exemptions from energy taxation in the non-ETS sector and their effect on (dis)incentivising the industry from going carbon-neutral; and on exemptions for energy intensive industries under a carbon price floor, building on the only example so far, the UK.
