Non-compliance of the 4th PCI List with EU law and the Paris Agreement

ClientEarth’s legal experts analyse why the European Parliament should not vote for the 4th Projects of Common Interest (PCI) List.  The list is in breach of EU laws, is inconsistent with the Paris agreement and jeopardises the response to the climate emergency declared recently by the European Institutions and the EU Green Deal.  Such support would also create a risk of stranded assets, the costs of which would ultimately be borne by the European taxpayer.
