Joint NGO letter to Minister Prentis about transparency in negotiations on fishing opportunities between the UK and the EU and stakeholder participation in the work of the Specialised Committee on Fisheries

This joint NGO letter co-signed by 6 NGOs (Blue Marine Foundation, ClientEarth, Marine Conservation Society, Oceana, Our Fish and Seas at Risk) was sent on 19 March 2021. In this letter, we call on Victoria Prentis to ensure transparency and accountability of the bilateral and trilateral negotiations between the UK, the EU and Norway on fishing opportunities, and with regard to the work of the Specialised Committee on Fisheries to be established under the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the UK and the EU. A similar letter was sent to Commissioner Sinkevičius on the EU side.
