This is the Commissioner’s response to a joint NGO letter on transparency in EU-UK bilateral and EU-UK-Norway trilateral negotiations on fishing opportunities, sent on 25 February 2021. In his response, the Commissioner reaffirms his commitment to improved transparency and his appreciation of the mutually beneficial engagement between the Commission and NGOs.
