Established by the 2005 Act, the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission has the oversight responsibility for all public procurement and concessions, it has a distinct corporate identity and may sue and be sued in its corporate name. The Commission is tasked to ensure the economic and efficient use of public funds in public procurement and to ensure that public procurement and concession processes are conducted in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory manner.
