Focus 

Rachel is the Chief Financial Officer, leading all aspects of finance for the global organisation. This includes strategic financial planning, organisational budgeting and performance reporting; grant financial management from proposals through to donor financial compliance and reporting; international financial management for ClientEarth subsidiaries and branches; and financial accounting, from Accounts Payable and Receivable through to Annual Accounts.

Rachel is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, and reports directly to the CEO. She works closely with the Finance and Investment sub-committee of the Board.

Experience

Rachel joined ClientEarth in 2020 and is based in London. Prior to this she spent 10 years working at international NGOs as Finance Director/Chief Operating Officer, at CARE International UK and International Rescue Committee UK; and held a number of senior finance roles at The British Council. She is also currently a Trustee at Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX).

Education and Training

She is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and holds a BA (Hons) degree in French and Management Studies from Leeds University.
