Recruitment Privacy Notice
At ClientEarth we want to provide a safe and secure user experience to all. We will ensure that the information you submit to us as part of the recruitment process is only used for the purposes set out below. We will only process such data as agreed with you and as provided to you by us or by other sources that we will identify.
Once you register for our job alerts or submit an application to us, this information may be processed by us and our recruitment system provider eArcu. We will collect your personal data and use it for recruitment-related and equality and diversity monitoring purposes. Such information will include names, contact details, date of birth, details of qualifications and employment history. Where necessary, it may be appropriate to collect racial, ethnic, sexual, religious and/or disability information, information about any medical conditions, and for specified roles only, information on past criminal records with your consent and as provided by you.
We will also use this information to engage with you as an applicant, answer queries and may send you relevant information about careers and opportunities at ClientEarth during this period, as requested by you.
We will hold your application data for a period of 12 months after which we will delete this information. We will only extend this period on the basis of your consent or in the event of you being successful awarded a position.
At any time during the recruitment process, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of your personal information
- Request any inaccuracies in your personal information be corrected
- You may also ask to object or restrict the processing of your personal data and have your personal information erased, where appropriate.
