I am very excited to be part of such a unique and relevant organisation as ClientEarth, which uses the power of the law to safeguard the future of the planet and the people who inhabit it. The challenge to protect the under-represented rights of nature is one I find both motivating and inspiring!

Jimmy Laycock

Grants Officer

Jimmy Laycock joined ClientEarth as Grants Officer in March 2019.

Before ClientEarth,  Jimmy worked at  Amref Health Africa where his work focused on project and grant management. Previous to this, Jimmy spent time working for a sustainable development NGO called SEED Madagascar. He also interned for the International Development Law Organization, an intergovernmental rule of law organisation based in Rome. Jimmy has an MSc in Human Geography from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Geography from the University of Leeds.
