Resources Adequacy Assessments in a Nutshell – Memo

This memorandum explains what are Resources Adequacy Assessments (RAA) and how under they could play a bigger role in coal campaigning work once the Clean Energy Package enters into force. Indeed, RAA could provide strong, technical arguments to campaigners and civil society as to why proposed development, or life extensions of thermal plants may actually be unnecessary, and why instead, they can be shut down safely without risking blackouts.
