Letter to European Commission – Germany’s lignite reserve risks failure

ClientEarth's lawyers have written to the European Commission, alerting them to a failure by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy to stick to the legal terms of Germany's 'lignite reserve' - designed to cut carbon emissions and speed the shutdown of polluting plants.
