Letter from ClientEarth to Noel Quinn of HSBC

ClientEarth lawyers have written to HSBC's board members reminding them of their legal duties in regards to climate change risk and urged them to support a major climate resolution at the bank's upcoming Annual General Meeting. The resolution calls on board members to direct HSBC to take immediate steps to develop a strategy with short, medium and long-term targets to align the bank's business with the Paris Agreement goals.
