Joint NGO priorities on the Multi-annual Plan for the Western Mediterranean Sea (WMedMAP)

The European Commission's Western Mediterranean Multi- Annual Plan Proposal was released in March 2018 in order to ensure sustainable fisheries management of fish stocks in the Western Mediterranean. This joint paper by ClientEarth, Oceana, Seas At Risk and WWF summarises the aspects of the proposal that we support and those that need to be amended in line with our common priorities. We will base our EU advocacy during the decision-making process of this multi-annual plan until the final adoption of this regulation.
