Guidelines – 2006 – Environmental Impact Assessment Procedural Guideline – Liberia

The 2006 EIA Guideline provides with provisions on the EIA process from the application for an EIA permit license and submission of a project brief, to the granting of an environmental license or permit, including phases of screening and scoping. In addition the guideline which aims at providing the Environmental protection Agency, sector agencies, private sector, NGOs, members of the public and consultants a set of approved guidelines for the conduct and review of EIAs in Liberia, describes all the components an EIA report requires.
