ClientEarth’s response to the European Commission’s consultation on the prolongation of State aid rules

ClientEarth's response to a consultation on the prolongation of State aid regulations and guidelines by two years i.e. until 2022. The European Commission is planning to prolong State aid rules that are fundamental for assessing environmental protection and energy measures by two years, until 2022, while it is undertaking a fitness check of these rules which need to be revised in light of evolution of the market and of EU secondary legislation since they were adopted.
