ClientEarth’s contribution to the Inception Impact Assessment of the REACH reform

The REACH Regulation is the keystone of better information and control of hazardous chemicals. It is the regulation that applies to all substances, whatever their uses.

The Commission is now working on a reform as part of the promises of the Green Deal and Chemical Strategy for Sustainability “Towards a non-toxic environment”. The inception impact assessment is the first step of the process, which should culminate in a proposal for reform in 2022.
