Sophie joined the London office in April 2020. Her work focuses on issues relating to forest governance and communities’ rights in South-East Asia.
Sophie has worked with the UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA) and before joining ClientEarth, she worked in Campaigns and Policy at CPRE The countryside charity. She has experience in international development projects in Fiji, India and Tanzania.

Over 25% of the world’s population rely on forest resources for their livelihoods, and ClientEarth are doing incredible things to bring positive changes to forests and the people who depend upon them. Working alongside such inspiring colleagues is a privilege and I’m extremely proud to be a part of such an innovative and meaningful organisation.
