Peter Barnett joined our London office in April 2018 in ClientEarth’s climate programme, using strategic litigation to fight climate change and drive the clean energy transition.
Peter’s work focuses on litigation against companies and financial sector actors to drive greater integration of climate-related risk into corporate governance and decision-making.
Prior to joining ClientEarth, Rosa worked as a corporate lawyer for clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors at an international law firm, having trained as a solicitor in the London and Paris offices of the same firm. During this this time, Rosa spent several months on secondments to the legal teams of companies operating in the insurance and offshore energy sectors.
Before commencing her legal training, Rosa studied Modern Languages at the University of Oxford. She subsequently spent some time working for a Mexican NGO dedicated to equipping civil society organisations with advocacy skills to influence the public policy agenda in Mexico.
At ClientEarth, I am proud to be working towards a plastic-free planet by holding corporates accountable for their impact on the environment. I believe this is an essential step in building societies which act as responsible custodians of the planet for the benefit of all its inhabitants – present and future.
