Focus

Rob is a lawyer in ClientEarth’s Accountable Finance team. He works on a broad range of legal strategies and interventions using corporate and financial laws to push for a more sustainable financial system. His current areas of focus include climate change, corporate transition planning, audit and accounting, financial markets and listing regimes, and greenwashing in the financial sector.

Experience

Prior to joining ClientEarth in November 2021, Rob was a senior solicitor at Macfarlanes LLP, where he advised financial sector clients on a wide range of tax and ESG matters and chaired the firm’s environment committee for three years.

Education

Rob holds an LLM in environmental law and policy from University College London, and an MA in law from the University of Cambridge. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
