Focus

Paloma specialises in sustainable seafood products and their availability to consumers in large supermarkets in Spain. She works with companies in the seafood supply chain to make responsibility and sustainability part of the company's strategic planning. She participated in the creation of the Plataforma por la Sostenibilidad Pesquera (Platform for Sustainable Fisheries), a joint and collaborative workspace between different companies in the Spanish seafood supply chain, such as distributors, business associations and suppliers, who share the vision of being a global benchmark in the marketing of sustainable seafood products. ClientEarth holds the position of Secretariat of this Platform.

Paloma also collaborates with other environmental NGOs working together to support responsible and sustainable fishing, especially of the most important species for the Spanish market.

She has also witnessed at sea and has been able to witness first-hand the need for transparency and traceability in this field.
