Focus

Małgorzata joined the Brussels office in July 2023 as a Senior Lawyer in the Fundamental Rights team. She works at the nexus of human rights and environmental law, where the climate and ecological crises affect fundamental rights, including the rights to life and to health. She works with all teams at ClientEarth to develop an approach integrating the protection of the environment and human rights. Before, she worked as a Senior Environmental Democracy Lawyer in our Warsaw office, where she joined ClientEarth in January 2019.

Experience

Before joining ClientEarth, Malgorzata worked at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Department for Proceedings before International Human Rights Protection Bodies. From 2013 to 2017, she worked at the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights. She also gained her professional experience by working at the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Justice.

Education

She holds a law degree (M.A.) from the University of Łódź (Poland) and a Master from the University François Rabelais of Tours (France). She graduated from the Polish National School of Public Administration. She is a Polish-qualified lawyer (adwokat).

The enjoyment of human rights will be both directly and indirectly affected by the interconnected triple planetary crisis. I am privileged to use my human-rights knowledge in my daily work at ClientEarth, an organization that aims to deliver change at the rate at which it is needed.
