Laurène joined our Brussels office in July 2020. She works on State aid and energy market law and policy towards the achievement of EU climate goals. Laurène’s work also focuses on energy democracy.

Experience

Before joining ClientEarth in July 2020, Laurène worked in a Belgian law firm specialised in energy and environmental law. She did traineeships in international law firms in Paris and Brussels as well as at the European Court of Justice.

Education and Training

Laurène qualified as a lawyer at the Paris and Brussels Bars in 2016. She majored in International Trade and EU laws at the University of Rennes 1 and holds a master's degree in Environment and Law from the same university.

While global warming and environmental threats are growing, I felt an urgent call to use my legal skills for the protection of the environment and the transition towards a clean and flexible energy system. That’s exactly what we do at ClientEarth.
