Gabriela joined ClientEarth in June 2021 as a Programme Officer for the Ocean and Agriculture programmes, eventually transitioning into a Programme Officer and Researcher role with the former Agriculture team.

Since January 2023, she has been working as a Legal and Policy Researcher with the Clean Air, Water and Soil legal sub-group, where she provides research capacity and contributes to writing briefings, reports and advocacy papers on legal and policy issues related to food systems, agriculture and soil. She is particularly involved in advocacy activities related to the EU Sustainable Food Systems Law and the Soil Health Law, monitoring EU environmental policy developments and regularly engaging with coalition partners, stakeholders and other relevant actors.

Before joining ClientEarth, Gabriela completed several internships with environmental organisations and international law firms specialising in environmental justice issues, human rights and international humanitarian law. This included, most recently, the Environmental Justice Foundation, where she supported the Climate Campaign team with research and communications around climate justice issues in the US.

Gabriela holds a BA in International Relations and Area Studies from Jagiellonian University and a MA in Security and International Law from the University of Manchester.
