Gabriela joined ClientEarth in June 2021 as a Programme Officer for the Ocean and Agriculture programmes, eventually transitioning into a researcher role with the former Agriculture team.

Since January 2023, she has been working as a Legal and Policy Researcher with the Clean Air, Water and Soil team, where she engages in research and advocacy on environmental law and policy related to food systems, soil health and agriculture. She is particularly involved in advocacy on the EU Sustainable Food Systems Law and the Soil Monitoring Law, following policy developments and legislative processes, producing advocacy materials and outputs, and engaging with coalitions, decisionmakers and relevant actors.

Experience

Before joining ClientEarth, Gabriela completed internships with several international NGOs specializing in environmental justice, human rights, international criminal law and international humanitarian law. This included, most recently, the Environmental Justice Foundation, where she provided research and campaign support on climate justice issues in the United States.

Education

Gabriela holds a BA in International Relations and Area Studies from Jagiellonian University and a MA in Security and International Law from the University of Manchester.

Gabriela is working on
