Emma joined ClientEarth in August 2021. She works on strategic litigation in the UK and Western Europe and advocacy at an EU level to protect the right to breathe clean and healthy air.


Before joining ClientEarth, Emma worked in commercial litigation and arbitration at an international law firm. While there, she represented clients in the shipping, trade and energy sectors from across the globe.


Emma holds a first-class degree in European Social and Political Studies from UCL, and is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. Having trained as a lawyer in London, Paris and Geneva, she speaks fluent French and German, as well as her native English and Italian.

I love working to make Europe a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable place for the people that live there. I am passionate about using the law to bring about long-lasting change, and I am proud to be part of an organisation which allows me to use my skills for the public good.
