Emily joined ClientEarth’s London office in December 2021 and works on the Clean Air Programme.
Before joining ClientEarth, Emily worked as a solicitor, practising employment law. Emily left this role to retrain in environmental law, which led her to pursue postgraduate study at UCL and then to apply to ClientEarth.
Emily holds a law degree from the University of Manchester and an LLM in Environmental Law and Policy from University College London.
Working on the legal and policy landscape around air pollution is challenging; it is a technical regulatory landscape that rests on a complex scientific field. However, successfully tackling air pollution holds huge potential to improve health outcomes and achieve co-benefits for climate and biodiversity.
