Ben is based in Los Angeles and joined ClientEarth in May 2023. He focuses on addressing capital flows in the context of climate change and using securities and commercial laws for environmental purposes. Prior to his role at ClientEarth, he worked as a litigator at both a large international firm and a small litigation boutique, receiving awards for addressing chemical spills in Lake Michigan and mitigating COVID-19 in the Orange County Jail. With a JD from the University of Chicago, an MFA in fiction from UC San Diego, and a BA from Hampshire College, Ben brings diverse legal expertise to ClientEarth.
