Senior Lawyer, Marine and Mediterranean Protected Wildlife and Habitats
Bellinda Bartolucci joined ClientEarth in June 2020 as a Senior Environmental Lawyer based in Berlin. She leads EU advocacy projects and strategic litigation across Europe to tackle the triple crisis of biodiversity loss, climate change and pollution, with a specific focus on their impact on marine biodiversity.
Before joining ClientEarth, Bellinda worked for the Human Rights Organization PRO ASYL in Germany leading its Legal Policy Department where she focused mainly on advocacy and strategic litigation on a national and European level. Previously, she gained also experiences in the public sector by working as a journalist.
Bellinda is a fully qualified German lawyer specialized in environmental law and trained inter alia by the Federal Ministry of the Environment of Germany and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN.
