Angus joined the London office as a UK Environment Lawyer in January 2022. Angus’s work centres on the implementation and enforcement of domestic environmental law, in particular in relation to fisheries. In addition, Angus undertakes strategic litigation and judicial review and focusses on access to justice and rule of law issues.
Prior to joining ClientEarth, Angus practised as a litigation and arbitration lawyer in the London office of DLA Piper.
Angus holds a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Law, London.
There is great potential to use the power of the law to ensure that environmental policy in the UK is both effectively crafted and meaningfully applied. Being at ClientEarth allows me to work towards these ends alongside incredibly talented and committed individuals.
