It’s a chemical problem with a generational impact. PFAs, also known as ‘forever chemicals’, are a family of 10,000+ chemicals known for their extreme persistence, described by scientists as ‘a pollution that can persist for a millennia.’
PFAS are showing up uninvited into our lives, including in our food, drinking water, and everyday products, from clothes to cooking pans. They are now found in the blood of almost every human being and affect our health with potentially dire consequences. Those who live or work in environments near these chemicals are especially at risk.
Join us to learn about this threat - and what can be done about it - from the incredible citizens, lawyers and scientists leading the fight.
