The ClientEarth Summit 2026: law and justice for a better future
24-26th March 2026
Justice doesn’t just happen by accident. It’s fought for, defended, and made real through action.
The ClientEarth Summit returned in 2026 for three days of thought-provoking conversations on the role the law plays in shaping our future – and how people worldwide are using it to decide how the coming years will look.
We heard from ClientEarth colleagues and our inspiring partners, peers, communities, and global experts about how they put the law into practice, leveraging its power to demand accountability.
Our Summit’s convenors took us from community-owned forests in Gabon to self-made Marine Protected Areas in Türkiye, from boardrooms in America to courtrooms in Belgium. We sat down with the people who are using the law to protect what we love.
A taste of the Summit 2026
During one Summit session this year, we heard from a panel of true experts in climate comms about their own experiences, solutions and successes in deploying impactful communications.
From talking about the challenges we're facing and the action we need in a way that engages and galvanises, rather than scares and discourages, to cutting through harmful disinformation, we heard tips, trends and insights from Vanessa Nakate, Christopher Shaw, Daniel Edelstyn, Georg Klingler Heiligtag and Soyeon Lim - highlights below:
