From Courts to Climate Action: What implications do recent legal decisions have on State ambition to address environmental harm and human rights?

This session will present the implications of the recent Advisory Opinions and understand their effect on climate ambition for NDCs and domestic climate laws, accountability for transboundary environmental harm, and the infringement of human rights. We will hear perspectives from frontline communities, legal experts, and how these outcomes demand climate justice.
