Football has long been called the beautiful game, and it brings joy to billions of us worldwide. It transcends language, culture, and geography.

But this year’s FIFA Men’s World Cup is threatened by climate change. Extreme heat is now common, and the tournament could see dozens of games played in sky-high temperatures - compromising the safety of players and fans. [1]

This year, mega polluters like Coca-Cola and Saudi Aramco are sponsoring the event. Corporations that are major contributors to climate change. [2]

Join our fight and tell FIFA to kick big polluters out of football.

Saudi state-owned fossil fuel company, Aramco, is the biggest corporate polluter on the planet.

While Coca-Cola is the worst plastic polluter on the planet. [1]

This is exactly why we need FIFA to kick big polluters out of football.

These corporations shouldn’t have influence over the beautiful game – and the billions of us who watch it

This sponsorship is giving companies like Aramco high visibility during the world’s biggest sporting event - and we believe it risks the values of the game being overshadowed by the interests of powerful corporate polluters.

Sponsoring an event like the Men’s World Cup gives corporations a social license: we associate them with positive feeling and joy, and it bolsters their sales and ultimately their bottom line.
