Could you spare 30 minutes to help close the ocean law implementation and enforcement gap?
Could you spare 30 minutes to help close the ocean law implementation and enforcement gap?
ClientEarth is seeking survey responses from experts with a deep understanding of ocean law and/or its implementation and enforcement at international, EU, EU member state or UK level. This survey follows two earlier surveys focused on coastal residents’ and fishing industry workers’ perceptions and experiences of ocean health and protection across several EU states and the UK.
Our online survey includes a range of questions concerning the current gaps in the implementation and enforcement of ocean law, and, crucially, what can be done to close this gap.
Does your current or recent experience relate to the ocean at EU member state, UK, international or EU level in:
Law, policy, research, enforcement, coastal community advocacy/campaigning, or small scale fishery advocacy/campaigning?
If so, we would greatly value your insights. By completing our survey, you will help us create compelling evidence demonstrating how to close the ocean implementation and enforcement gap.
We are very grateful for the time you will give to completing this survey and are keen for you to be able to access and use the survey findings in your work. If you would like us to share the findings with you, please contact Catherine Maguire.
Survey purpose: generate compelling data which demonstrates the law as a tool to accelerate action to close the ocean enforcement gap in order to influence policy maker decision-making at international, EU, EU member state or UK level.

Your participation is entirely voluntary and by choosing to complete the survey, you consent to take part.
