ClientEarth reaction: Coldplay announce Music Of The Spheres Word Tour

Environmental law charity ClientEarth is one of the beneficiaries of a fund set up by Coldplay, through which 10% of everything the band earns (from the Music Of The Spheres World Tour as well as records, publishing etc) will support environmental and socially-conscious causes. One Tree Planted and Ocean Cleanup are among the other causes supported.

CEO and Founder of ClientEarth James Thornton said:

We believe that addressing the climate crisis is an issue that affects everyone, so it’s a conversation that should involve everyone.

Musicians and the music industry have a unique opportunity to connect with audiences who share their commitment to a better future.

We are incredibly fortunate that Coldplay are long-term supporters and friends of ours. The support we will see as a result of this tour will be instrumental in helping us drive action towards a world where people and nature thrive together.”
