The severance fee imposes all trees cut for commercial purposes on all lands within the Republic of Liberia to be assessed at $1,50 per cubic meter of Full Trees Length irrespective of grade and intended use. FDA Regulation No 7 on revised forest fees and taxes contains a detailed list of rates per cubic meter applicable to all round log intended for export, according to species.
