Demand #6 for REACH reform: Access to justice

The EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability goal of a "toxic-free environment" requires a comprehensive improvement of the EU chemicals regulation REACH - as does the UN human right to a "clean, healthy and sustainable environment". ClientEarth has developed 6 demands for an ambitious REACH reform. Demand #6 is outlined in 2 briefs, which aim to introduce a right to require action and compensation from non-compliant chemical operators as well as a right to trigger action from public authorities.
