COVID-19 measures in agriculture: joint NGO letter to Agriculture Commissioner

This letter is a response to the list of measures presented to the European Commission by the Croatian Presidency on the response to COVID-19. It highlights how, while avoiding disruptions in farm harvesting and food supply chains is a priority now, it does not erase pre-existing crises. Our long-term food security largely depends on creating new synergies between food production and nature, rebuilding soil quality, protecting water and making farming ecologically and socially resilient.
