ClientEarth letter to the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank (EIB) on its fossil-free lending policy

ClientEarth lawyers have written to the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank, warning them that a decision to keep natural gas in its lending policy would breach its legal duties.

The lawyers have also warned German Ministers that voting to keep natural gas in the policy would break its climate commitments.

You can read the separate letters to the German ministries here and here.
