The law must protect people, not polluters.
Powerful polluters have too much influence over the decisions that affect all of us.
Governments should protect people and nature. Instead, too often they allow powerful industries to put profit before the public good.
The result is a system where polluters can delay, weaken or avoid the protections that all of us depend on.
Giant polluters have deep pockets and massive influence – but we can fight back.
Together, we can use the law to create a future where governments protect people, not polluters.
Here's just a snapshot of the crucial work you've supported this year
INEOS
You sustained our 6-year battle to stop petrochemical giant INEOS from building Europe's largest plastics project.
Coca-Cola
We forced Coca-Cola to remove misleading recycling labelling from its bottles. We will keep fighting fake sustainability claims.
KLM
We helped proved that KLM were illegally greenwashing when its advertising falsely promoted the sustainability of flying.
Tefal
We warned the maker of Tefal pans - SEB - that it needs to move away from harmful PFAS chemicals or risk being sued.
Protecting the ocean
We took legal action against the French and Spanish governments over harmful practices like overfishing and illegal bottom trawling.
Livestock pollution
We sued the Spanish government over livestock megapollution that was contaminating the land and water around residents' homes. The Court sided with us and ruled that authorities must protect citizens' rights from from industrial livestock pollution.
Donate today
Big polluters are harming our health, destroying nature and fuelling climate breakdown. And our governments aren’t doing enough to stop them.
Our rivers and waterways are getting more and more polluted by sewage, toxic chemicals and pesticides.
Oceans and marine wildlife are drowning in plastic pollution.
More and more species are pushed towards extinction due to climate change.
Environmental destruction is not inevitable. It is the result of choices. We use the law to fight these polluters. Your support has fuelled our work for over 15 years, and next year we want to do even more.
Please consider donating today to keep this crucial action going in 2027.
