Amy is responsible for leading ClientEarth’s communications, public affairs and digital teams.

Experience

With over two decades of experience in senior communications, media, and marketing roles, Amy specialises in the public and international not-for-profit sectors. Most recently, Amy held the position of Strategic Communications Director at Global Canopy, where she focussed on communications activities to shift finance away from tropical deforestation and nature negative activities. 

Prior to this, she led communications in Europe for humanitarian organisation Mercy Corps, working in 40 countries including some of the most fragile and conflicted affected. 

Amy's previous communications roles include with UNFPA, the World Bank Institute, and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), a conflict management and mediation organisation. 

Beyond her professional commitments, Amy is engaged in the conservation community, serving as a trustee of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and lending her advisory expertise to the Community of Arran Seabed Trust. 

Education

Amy holds a Masters in Contemporary History and Politics (Birkbeck), following three years of law studies in South Africa.
