Megan leads ClientEarth’s Accountable Finance team. She works on a broad range of legal strategies and interventions to push for a more sustainable financial system, including driving greater integration and disclosure and of climate- and nature-related financial risks into investment decision-making.

Experience

Prior to joining ClientEarth in December 2016, Megan was an associate at international law firm Hogan Lovells, where she specialised in commercial litigation, acting for a wide range of financial institutions and corporates on complex disputes. During 2021, Megan was seconded to the UK’s Department for Work and Pensions, where she developed proposals for pension schemes to report on their alignment with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, and worked on the Government’s Green Finance Roadmap.

Education

Megan holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School and an MA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. She is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and holds Higher Rights of Audience.
