Alan Andrews

Lawyer, Health and Environment
Clean Air Project Leader

Alan Andrews is based in our London office and focuses on clean air.

Alan works within the Health and Environment programme, specialising mainly on air pollution issues. His work aims to enforce compliance with EU air quality standards in the UK and other member states using advocacy and litigation. He also works to improve EU air pollution law and sits on the stakeholder expert group for the EU’s “Year of Air” review of air pollution policy.

Before joining ClientEarth, Alan was a commercial lawyer with the international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and holds a degree in law from the University of Manchester (LLB) and a masters degree (LLM) in environmental law and policy from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
