Harry Wright joined the London office as a development and programme officer in March 2018 for the Forests Programme, having just spent three months working with a marine conservation charity in the Maldives.
Harry’s background is primarily within the legal and NGO world. After completing his training contract with Thrings LLP, Harry qualified as a corporate/commercial solicitor in September 2016 working on large scale transactions in the healthcare and renewable sector, before making a move into the NGO world. Before qualifying, Harry also worked as a paralegal at Ashfords LLP and completed an internship with the House of Commons.
Harry is also currently the deputy co-chairman of the United Nations Westminster Young Professionals Association where he recently completed a study tour of the UN headquarters in New York and spoke at the COY13 in Bonn, Germany prior to Cop23. Harry is also the co-founder of The Conservation Project International which aims to support young conservationists/researchers around the world.
