Wanlin Wang

Senior Lawyer, China Project (Qualified in China)

Wanlin Wang is a qualified lawyer in China. Before she joined in ClientEarth, she was a research fellow funded by Marie Curie Fellowship, based in Sustainable Place Research Institute, Cardiff University since 2014. Her research focused on protection of marine biodiversity and benefit-sharing of marine genetic resources in the EU.

Wanlin received her PhD from China University of Political Science and Law in 2014, majoring in Chinese Environmental Law. She also has a master in Comparative Law and LLB. She has worked for Center for Legal Assistance to Pollution Victims during 2009 to 2013.  She has participated in several legislative research projects, including the draft of Chinese Climate Change Law.
