Nick Goetschalckx joined ClientEarth in September 2019 as a Fisheries Lawyer, focusing in particular on the EU Fisheries Control System. In this regard, he engages in advocacy and strategic litigation with a view to ensure legal, transparent and sustainable EU fisheries.

Before joining ClientEarth, Nick worked for the environment and governance teams of the Delegation of the European Union to Cameroon. Previously, he worked as a policy coordinator for the ONE Campaign and as a junior associate at a public law firm.

Nick holds a Masters in International and European Law from the University of Antwerp and a Masters in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
