Xueju Huang has twenty years of experience in the environmental field. Xueju is familiar with environmental policies and government institutional systems in China, having spent her first ten years working for the Chinese State Forestry Administration on nature conservation projects. Xueju also has extensive experiences with the European Union’s Cooperation in China.
She was involved in the formulation and implementation of a number of flagship projects, including the EU-China Environmental Governance Programme, the EU-China Environmental Sustainability Preprogramme, the EU-China Biodiversity Programme, and the EU-China Policy Dialogue Facility. Xueju also has experience in other Asian countries and worked on the SWITCH Asia Programme for Sustainable Production and Consumption. She holds a Master’s degree on forest economics from Beijing Forestry University.
