Cory has an array of legal, business and philanthropic experience. After graduating from Columbia Law School, she clerked for a federal judge, worked for Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City as a litigator and shifted to corporate law at Coudert Brothers when she moved to Hong Kong. Cory then ran the business affairs group for Walt Disney Television International (Asia Pacific) based in Hong Kong, covering New Zealand through the Middle East. When she moved to London in 2000, Cory became head of business development for a Swedish group which had created an interactive entertainment product.
Following her dotcom experience, Cory worked for Jacob Rothschild as a senior corporate advisor. Cory has been a member of the board of the Gate Theatre in Notting Hill and a publicly listed Australian oil company, she served as the president of the Phillips Exeter Association of the UK (a US boarding school) and she has advised and raised money for Exeter, Cancer Research (UK) and the Gate Theatre.
