Clement joined ClientEarth at the start of 2013 as an in-country associate for the Africa team in Ghana.
After completing a degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws post-first degree at the University of Ghana, Clement was awarded a Master of Laws degree in Global Constitutionalism and International Finance from The University of Michigan Law School.
Clement has worked in commercial law, international finance, constitutional law, human rights, natural resources law with specialty in forest and wildlife legislation. He was one of the five counsel-researchers engaged on the review of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana focusing on decentralisation, local government and national security.
He also teaches commercial law at the law school of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
