The European Commission has just published a guide to help citizens understand Access to Justice in environmental matters.
Using a frequently asked question’s format, the Citizen’s guide provides answers to basic questions citizens and NGOs may ask on access to justice: what does it mean, what kind of decisions can be challenged and how?
This useful tool serves as a summary of the main findings of the Notice on access to justice in environmental matters adopted by the European Commission in 2017.
A PDF of the Citizen’s guide is available here. If you want a hard copy of it, please send an email to ENV-E04@ec.europa.eu.
