Annika is a student at Oxford University studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. At university, Annika specialises in Theories of Justice, Legal Theory, Ethics and the Philosophy of Language. Last year she was awarded an academic scholarship.

Her real passion, however, lies in environmental justice and the fight to protect the environment. She became particularly interested in ClientEarth because of its unique approach of using existing institutional forces - that is, economic incentive and the rule of law - to force progress at the corporate and governmental levels.

In the past, Annika has worked at a political think tank, a social media start-up and a global mass media company. She is heavily involved with student journalism and is an active member of various student societies. Above all, she is keen to make environmental activism more engaging and inspiring for students who currently find the area exclusive.
