Stefanie Pfeil joined the London office as Director of Development in April 2018, having worked in fundraising for over 15 years.

Originally from Germany, Stefanie has worked in senior fundraising and communications roles in the NGO sector since 2006. Stefanie started her fundraising career at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and switched to international development after completing a Master’s degree in arts management. Stefanie worked as Director of Fundraising and Communications at War on Want from 2006 and joined the International Rescue Committee UK as External Relations Director in 2010.

Prior to joining ClientEarth she was External Relations Director at Farm Africa, an NGO that focuses on agriculture, environment and business in eastern Africa and has worked with corporate, institutional, statutory and individual donors from all walks of life. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts Management and a BA in Business Studies. Stefanie is a board member of Refugee Action.
